ALCAST
is having its manufacturing and other allied facilities at Sirdo
Industrial Estate, Mesra, Ranchi, about 16 Kms. from Ranchi Airport &
12 K.M. from Ranchi Railway Station on NH-33, Ranchi – Hazaribag
National Highway, i.e., well connected to AIR, RAIL, & ROAD. We
are mainly engaged in the field of manufacturing of various types of
pressure & gravity die castings, and CNC based precision machined
components and sub assemblies.
Our
manufacturing program consists of tailor made products as per
customers specifications. We always insist on flawless end product.
Selection of quality raw material Confirming to IS & other
international specifications, good workmanship and quality control at
every stage are the Key elements to of our manufacturing process.
In
addition to this, ALCAST is also in technical collaboration with
SMALL INDUSTRIES RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION, a division
of BIRLA INSTITUTE OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH. We are also a part of
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY ENTREPRENEURES PARK, an industrial complex
sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, to
facilitate high quality & high tech industrial development in the
country.

FACILITIES
Unlike
many others, most of our manufacturing process is carried out in our
in-house facility, resulting to high degree of design conformity,
workmanship, quality control and conformity in delivery schedule.

TESTING
AND QUALITY
CONTROL
We
firmly believe that one of the major aspects influencing our survival
and prosperity is in our capability of creating customers
satisfactions, which is achieved through a calculated approach
towards quality assurance in our working. A constant endeavor is made
by us to create an atmosphere of quality consciousness from the
inception to conclusion of our production process.
Our
quality control starts from the selection of raw material, followed
by at least four stages of quality control checks in the process of
production and finally all finished products has to pass through a
rigid pre-determined test schedule.
Our
testing and quality control set-up is equipped with all necessary
test equipment required for offering international standard. They
consist of the following :

on line testing facility with the help of Atomic Absorption
Spectrophotometer

fledge Analytical Laboratory
- Well
equipped critical examination & gauge room for dimensional
conformity

Test facility for testing mechanical properties of metal

Destructive Test Facility.
Apart
from this, we often use the facilities of BIT Mesra and BIT STEP
central laboratory for specialized testing. To name a few are :
